- He is a founding member of the Austin Center for Photography
- Brett has photographed professionally over the last 6 years for clients such as Wells Fargo, The Hilton Austin, BlueCross BlueShield, Austin Monthly, The Austin Chronicle, UT Austin, The Austin Business Journal, and others
- His wedding work has been featured in The Knot Texas, Style Me Pretty, and The Austin American Statesman
- Brett maintains a liability insurance policy for wedding events, required by some venues
- He commits to only 1 wedding a day and no more than 40 weddings each year
- Brett is a lifelong Austinite and loves reinvesting into the community through great organizations like the Austin Humane Society, Austin Veterans and Family Advocacy Council, Dell Children’s Hospital, KUT Radio, and MEDICO
- Brett approaches weddings as a photojournalist and documentary photographer. He keeps the posing to a minimum and instead focuses on documenting truthful moments in an insightful, artful, and lasting way.
